Hi! How have you been all doing? Lately here at Endless Wardrobe we have been inspired by skirts, and to be specific, it’s all about the midi high skirts. There is something just so fun and reminiscent about them and they come in a variety of prints and styles! Even if the rage these days is all about skater skirts, the skater styles, we believe, is best left for summer and spring. In fall and winter, the appropriate length and charming style of the midi high skirt is very appropriate.

We would say that the cut is very simple, and it could be one of the most versatile skirts to wear to match to any footwear too. It also comes in a flattering and conservative A style cut, which works well no matter if you are plump or  a little skinny, it doesn’t really matter. Its impressive cut could give the illusion longer legs too.

You could choose if you like your midi high skirts plain straight, or with pleats. Wear it high waist, and finish off with a slim belt. Here is  a suggestion though, you might want to see how it looks like if you match with a winter jacket, and you can see if you rock this style.

There is another thing about midi high skirts, lately designers have introduced the illusion midi skirt. It’s really more of a mini skirt but it has a sheer covering that follows the size of a midi skirt, that makes it quite stylish, and it could be worn to parties, where your outfit could be quite a conversation starter. If you pair it with the right top, you can easily put on a statement necklace and you are good to go.

You can’t help walking confidently and embracing the comfort of a midi high skirt. It’s fun to wear and there is nothing to worry about because the length is very appropriate for a  lot of occasions. Perhaps the only trouble is trying to figure out which colour you have to get, or which print you absolutely must have!

The Gray Cardigan

The gray cardigan is already such a classic choice when it comes to office wear, and fall choices. If you feel that every other woman has this in her closet and you want to step up your game, you can easily get the help of faux jewels and add a cool touch to your gray cardi by gluing them on the fabric with durable glue, and your creativity can set you apart. From the boring gray cardi, you now have something worth showing off.

If you don’t want to bejewel your gray cardi, you can still wear it and still step up your style factor by matching it with a beret to the side, and statement necklaces in copper or gold.

Printed Dresses

From the printed dress of the same cuts, styles and lengths, you can turn them into eccentric extras. You can do so by preparing and layering bib necklaces, chandelier earrings, and match them with fishermen net leggings, keeping your coat to a solid, textured one. Even the sun does not hide during Fall. What better way for you to bring the same inspiration of summer and spring with the help of your ever reliable sunglasses but with a twist. Floral sunglasses are big right now and what is great about them is you can design them yourself. Simpy choose your style, if you want the sunglasses frames to be wrapped in fabric or if you want fabulous cabochons to be adorned at the top of the frames or on the sides, you can make them anytime.

One thing great about Fall is that you can wear pastels anytime of day and jump out from the classic browns and earth tones. Who says pastels can’t be an earth tone too? A lot of flowers are inspiration for these delicate pastel shades. Here is another classic favourite for women who can’t let go of the lovely pastels long after summer has gone. It’s very wearable if you fancy long skirts, whether straight or with pleats.

You can even layer your favourite denim shirt top over an interesting maxi dress and you can be a walking breeze of fresh air. Your style will show too.

Denim+ Sequins

Another party ready outfit combination is to wear your denim shirt top with a good contrasting sequin bottom such as a skirt or shorts. You can even transform if you wear it late in the afternoon and party with it late at night. This ensemble is great for huge celebrations and you can pair it with chunky bangles and bracelets or statement earrings.

• The fit matters a lot, and you would want to have crisp clothes, not wrinkled ones that look fresh out of the dryer

As you can see, copper is nothing new when it comes to cardigans, raincoats and jackets which are brought out once Fall hits. Personally, a must have would be the copper-coloured flats, and of course, the handy bags never cease to fail. When it comes to Fall, the knitted wear is sure to top my list. Pigeon Blue

As for pigeon blue, this is a very smart colour choice to match with greys, whites, and of course, even rust and copper! If you want to inject a little summer vibe right smack in the middle of Fall, you can do so by pairing pigeon blue with gold and yellow. It is as cheerful as you can go in terms of accessories. A simple gold chain or yellow stacked bangles will do.

If you’re a Bohemian bride, here are some ideas you can infuse into your wardrobe. These will make your ensemble look coordinated but still reflect your carefree nature.

Dress

 Everyone who sees your dress should be reminded of nature and freedom – flowers, flowing rivers, butterflies and even the air. Choosing the right fabric, silhouette and embellishments will easily do the trick.

The empire waistline is the silhouette you should think of to start with. You can have any kind of neckline and sleeves you want – strapless, thin straps, very short puffed sleeves, butterfly sleeves or long bell sleeves. You also have a variety of necklines to consider, from boat neck to sweetheart.

Layering and draping of soft, flowing fabrics like organza and silk chiffon from under the breast to the hem of the skirt will give you that ethereal look. You can have a dress as white as a fairy’s. Or you can select a fabric in ivory or very pale beige to give a mysterious appeal.

Flowers, or at least a hint of them, have to be on your dress. You can have them all throughout your outfit with an overlay of delicate lace or just a sprinkling of flower appliqués on one side of the bodice or the skirt.

Hair Style

To match your flowing gown, wear your hair down with loose curls. But if you want an updo or half-updo, braids twisted like a crown would be excellent. Just make sure the styling isn’t done too tight, but more of a windswept look.

Easter comes in good timing, and this gives us a lot of time to prepare for the coming winter in a few months. In the meantime, anything reminiscent of Peter Rabbit or the Easter Bunny has captivated our attention and it has almost every one else swooning and admiring furry animals and cutesy rabbit details. So, here is a little compilation of the cutest picks that has all sorts of bunnies in them!

What is great about these sweaters is that they look very festive and you do not need to confine them in just a single occasion. Unlike yesterday’s sweaters and jumpers of the traditional green and red that come complete with all the Christmas balls and garlands, you can wear these bunny sweaters no matter at what age you are and still emit an aura of sweetness and innocence. That’s the plus when it comes to comfort dressing, it’s got playfulness to a T.

There is another bunny trend however, that is a cross between being one of the Playboy bunnies to high fashion. And when it comes to trends like these, again, you have to be the judge if it is too suggestive or just a passing trend.

Well the headband itself is an attention grabber. But if you wear it with dresses like these, you get a cross between a black rabbit that jumped into the hole (also half screaming, “I’m late! I’m late!”) and Alice who just happened to be lost in wonderland. But this option is quite fashionable. But if you ask me, I think this is best reserved for Halloween. Although most Aussies do not celebrate Halloween. Not yet, at least.

With summer creeping up on us, it is finally time to pack up our winter coats and don our summer dresses; I couldn’t be more excited. As a massive fan of the humble summer dress, this is my favourite time of year and not just because of the sun. It is the season when we can really experiments not only with our clothing but our accessories too. Winter sees us all bundled up in coats and scarves, sometimes we can even forget what we are wearing underneath; but when the summer sun begins to shine we can finally get the freedom to accentuate our feelings through our clothing!

With this in mind, here are my favourite looks for summer 2013 and why I love them!

The Bold

The 60′s appear to have hit us with a bang this season and I for one, can’t wait. I love the classic cut’s of vintage Esq. clothing and then throwing in a bold pattern – nothing could be better! Chequered patterns have been seen all over the catwalks of Paris and London, so they were an obvious pick for a post looking at bold prints. By far, the standout show had to be Louis Vuittons yellow chequered, escalator packed runway; models in brown and white chequered amongst a back drop of yellow – it was a psychedelic wonderment. This trend is now starting to filter through the high street making this style accessible for all. my favourite piece has got to be this jacket from Topshop. It may not be quite as blocked out as the designer versions, but perfect for a more subtle touch!

The Bright

Neon has suddenly landed and I don’t just mean hints of the bright colours; I mean entire outfits in yellows, oranges and greens. They have started to adorned the store windows and definitely give the streets a brighter, fun atmosphere. Neon has been a trend for many years now, mainly in accessory form, but has never managed to breakthrough as much as it seemingly has this year. Now this is a tricky trend to wear as you definitely need to have the right skin tone for the colours, but there are alternatives that will work for any tone; mixing fabrics such as lace and chiffon together will help to lessen the blow of the colour on those of us with paler skin. This example by Preen is simply stunning; the clever mixing of lace and pattern work gives the colour some depth and helps to break up the all over neon look!

The Beautiful

There is one trend that keeps coming back for more, season on season, the floral. This has to be the most versatile of all trends this summer as it really has no boundaries; big printed floral silk all the way through to ditsy floral maxi dresses = heaven. This year, the floral pattern has undergone a remake and come back in 3D; yes you read that right, flower patterns are now 3 dimensional. Seen on the catwalks of almost every designer house, Dolce and Gabbana, Moschino and Gucci, 3D floral’s have really burst open. Whether you want a toned down version, created from hand embroidered sequins, or an in your face bamboozle of crepe fabric flowers; you really be bringing the outside, inside. Oh and don’t forget that our bags will also be adorned with flowers this year so get saving for that perfect accessory for summer!
